"I went to a dermatologist for a new patient visit. The visit was easy to schedule. I have medicare, and one of the codes I was billed for is code 99203 ( American Medical Association code for new patient office visit that lasts 30–44 minutes). Does anyone get 30 to 44 minutes in any visit any more? Tops it was 10 minutes; and billed $650; of which $200 was not covered. There was alot more that could ..."

"Total scheduling nightmare, impossible to actually reach a human, and the office staff straight-up lied and told us that they had left a voice mail rescheduling an appointment (and we have actual proof that never happened, including both a record of a phone call and a text message confirming the appointment). Then a female with a heavy accent comes on and says she'll take a message, and someone will call you later. Maybe someone calls, maybe not. "I cannot tell anything positive about the services. From year to year the quality of services goes from bad to worse. Right now I am not able to schedule an appointment because some representative denied me in scheduling/accepting for mammograms only because referral came from the primary doctor who is not apart of WestMed. I am shocked!"

"My portal is continually disconnected. I have to go there to make a new portal. That works for about 4 months and then it's disconnected again and I cannot do it online as the message says I have to ask the practice -- good luck getting connected with them by phone. "Used to be a great practice but it's been a mess since summit took over. Doctors are leaving right and left and every time my Dr. leaves, I have to get a new dr and make a new appointment. Is this a money grab to get people in for additional appointments? I like having the security that my Dr will at least be there and I will not have to jump through hoops to get a new doctor. "Many good doctors, some great doctors but the "system" provides no clinical overview, no easy communication with outside doctors, has a bias to refer only in house even it the patient needs care not available within the system. It is a nightmare trying to reach a doctors office and the portal is nearly useless. There are also, sadly, some really not so good doctors that peers will not "rat out"."
