"I had read the reviews before taking my daughter. Both positives and negatives. This office is walking distance so I decided to still take her starting at 1.5 years old. I quickly realized the front office staff are rude and to book the next appointment with the hygienist before leaving. I felt like the hygienists and dentists were worth the office staff negativity. "If you like to feel welcomed and you like people to respect your children, don't go to this place and save yourself and your kid from a terrible experience. The first time we went to POW in 2021, my son was 2 years old, had had an accident and we didn't need to go through the staff so much, so it was ok. Dr. Patrick was really nice and gentle, he spent enough time with us there explaining our options ..."

"I so love this dentist, I was hesitant because I live in Oakland, but once I went the staff was friendly they didn’t need me in the room , as you know some kids act different when parents or guardians in the room..parking is great and they don’t take all day. They have this amazing big chalkboard and this for kids to do while waiting which isn’t very long..by the time I go get a bowl of soup next ..."

"Had my daughter’s routine visit today during the covid pandemic. Office was very clean, they took all temperatures, asked us to wash our hands and held open all the doors, etc to minimize contact touching. Everyone wore a mask and I was happy with the efforts they took. All the staff was helpful and were really patient with my daughter. Obviously the bonus—Dr. Patrick is a rock star! "My 6yr old finally had to get her crown and fillings done, and after seeing Dr. So a few times for her routine checkups. Dr. So was great with my daughter as to explaining what he was going to do, what tools were being used and why, and continued to talk her through the services to make her as comfortable as possible. "The worst was the very entitled and bossy front desk person. I expressed some concerns and he was very dismissive each time. Very condescending. The dentist counted my daughter’s teeth and talked the whole time telling me things I already knew. No chance for me to get a word in. He also sat so close that I felt uncomfortable.
