"Although the medical care that I received from the PAs was excellent, the billing practices were so flagrantly fraudulent, that WFM deserves no more than one star. I made appointments with and was seen by only PAs. Yet every time, they billed my insurance for examinations by a doctor with whom I never scheduled, never saw, never even met. "This place is bordering on criminal, they make it impossible to contact billing. It took three weeks to receive blood work from my annual physical and of course I was billed incorrectly. They also had a doctor call me when my labs were finally received to tell me everything was fine, guess what, thats another doctors visit. I expressly stated I DID NOT want a follow up. "A bad experience, unfortunately, in what should have been a simple consultation about a respiratory infection. But I was billed twice, the second charge being for a "45+ minute first-time consultation," even though all this amounted to was having my height and weight recorded. Billing told me that the "45+ minutes" is just a phrase they use and doesn't refer to the actual time spent with the patient ..."
