"I was a patient at Virginia Eye Institute in Mechanicsville from 2022 to 2025 and was happy with the care I received until I was encouraged to have cataract surgery. Although the staff said I was only 95% ready for cataract surgery, they would recommend it because surgery could include opening a duct to help relieve eye pressure.
