"I have been treated by Urology of Virginia for over 5 years now. Started with enlarged prostate/elevated PSA. Had 2 different biopsies, a cystoscopy, and last week (4/10/2026) had a ProLEP (ProTouch Laser Enucleation of the Prostate) procedure. "Out to just take your money! First time patient ever, I had to cancel my appointment one day prior. The reason being sent their was inaccurate so I need to call my doctor. Was charged $75 for canceling my appointappointment to early? "Horrible service!!! The staff, PA's, Nurses are all terrible. They have no sense of care and are very unprofessional. I get texts back that it will take 48-72 hours for them to reply. They are indignent and have no sense of personal relations. I hate going there because they don't care enough to make these things better.."

"Wait times are terrible. Appointment times are not followed. Calling is impossible. Doctors notes are insufficient at best. Surgery scheduling is not a couple of days but weeks behind. Their web site chat is a terrible loop of the same questions with no actual answers. Elderly patients wait for hours for everything from this practice and it is very sad that their time and concerns are not addressed. ..."

Instead of making appointments, the MAs leave a message in your chart for a provider to call you back regarding your concerns. "Would give zero stars if possible. They WILL NOT answer their phones. I have tried to call on three different days and have been on hold for over an hour each time. I have left my number for a call back and they will not respond. Terrible patient response. They need serious restructuring."

"If you’re looking for an Educated staff that are on top of their game… This is NOT the practice to see. Urology of Va puts more weight ( and pay ) towards Numbers… In a specialized practice such as this, patients should have, at the very least, an LPN as a contact. "impossible to contact by phone. one of the most cumbersome and ridiculous phone systems I've ever encountered. I would contact another provider, but they have a monopoly in this area. Very poor patient user friendly system! Iwould not give them one star if there were another option."
