"My experience as a mother of a patient in Taravista was unacceptable. My son was in unit south 2 and it was hard for him. My son would call me everyday while he was in the hospital and tell me how horrible the staff members there were. When he finally got discharged from taravista has provider by the name of Jennifer give him all his papers except one. this paper missing I left it in taravista for ..."

"My child was sent to Taravista. Their meds were changed, and after 5 days they were discharged. That's it. No real discharge or safety plan in place, except for providers that were so far away from where we live."

"Unfortunately, this facility is terribly managed and, as a consequence, potentially dangerous to patients. First, it isn't a place of healing as the restrictions on activity and exercise are oppressive. Despite its (for many) remote location, they only permit 1/2 hour visits, and only by one person per day, within very limited hours.
