"If you are receiving any extensive services like a crown or root canal please request an itemized bill and find out exactly what they will and will not bill your insurance. I had a root canal with a crown and three procedure codes were not billed to my insurance. When I received my explanation of benefits (EOB) I noticed the total charges did not match and what I was charged $500 more than the EOB ..."
