"My son needed a filling - Yikes! Lucky for him, Dr. Capalbo is the Queen of Distraction. He even commented that although he realized she was rambling on to distract him, he really enjoyed her commentary! Loved how the assistant explained every little thing to HIM - the patient! ALL the staff treats the kids with such respect. I LOVE THIS PLACE!"

"Our little guy has sensory issues and special needs. Dr. Shannon and Candy have been AMAZING to work with and make going to the dentist fun. Our son always wants to brush his teeth because he wants to impress Dr. Shannon :-). So cute!"

"I brought my spirited three year old and 22 month old in for exams today and it was such a great experience. My little one was somewhat skeptical walking in, but once the exam was underway, he was more than fine. The staff was amazing-patient and fun. "Normally I liked going here however on our visit I found the staff to be rude all besides our hygienist Kristen. It was obvious they were talking and laughing at myself and my daughters . I will be looking for a new dentist with more mature nice staff."

"As always, the cleaning went smooth. The hygienist was calm, friendly and most of all, patient. Dr. Capalbo, once again, was fantastic. My son was reluctant to have his loose tooth extracted. Instead of tricking him or going in guns blazing, Dr. Capalbo explained the whys and hows and got him to agree to have it removed! Amazing. Don't know how she does it. "From the moment you walk in the door, children feel at ease. The waiting room is interactive, educational, and fun. The office is up to date with technology (text or email reminders and calendar updates), Dr. Shannon is very gentle with the children as well as the hygienists."

"Not many kids like going to the dentist-- but if you have to go-- this is a great place to go. They all make it enjoyable to go. It is always a very friendly and a very pleasant experience for the kids. Very interactive with the kids and the "goodie" bag doesn't hurt! Dr. Anna Capalbo is wonderful. My kids never give me a hard time about having to go!"

"Dr. Capalbo and the hygienists at Children's Dentistry of Wakefield are the best. They are patient and gentle with my son and do everything in their power to make the appointment fun and pain-free. Dr. Capalbo remembers things my son has told her about and always asks about them. She even incorporates them into her conversations with him to distract him from the painful procedures. She rocks!"
