Our office policy is that we do not provide cleanings for patient 's that are not of record or have not gone through the proper x-rays and exam with our dentist so that proper diagnosis can be made. Miriam, I do apologize if there may have been some miscommunication/misunderstanding at the time that the appointment was made for you. We gladly except x-rays from another office and if our dentist can make a proper diagnosis off of those x-rays we have no issues with using them. However, you would still be considered a new client and our office protocol still stands with the cleanings. This just ensures that you receive the proper cleanings. Our office staff informs all new patients requesting for cleanings at the first visit that cleanings are never guaranteed. We strive to be a professional office and do our very best in accommodating the needs of our patient's within means.
