"The team was amazing. My bill went to collection and when I informed them it was a workers injury they still didn't correct it and getting still collection notices. Good luck trying to get a hold of them"

Tried to call the number provided to insurance - disconnected. Take pride in my credit score and very unhappy with the processing of my invoice, or lack thereof."

"Never received a bill just sent to collections. They billed under old ins info and when claim was denied no one reached out to see if there was new insurance or even sent a bill. The GI doc and hospital had the correct info. Calls to Anesthesia Associates goes through hospital switchboard so you get a provider but they have nothing to do with billing and could only give me a number to call. The clinical ..."

"Had a procedure at Portsmouth Hospital in November. Received bills from everyone else, surgeon, hospital, imaging, all paid. Never received any bill from Portsmouth Anesthesia they just sent to MiraMed collections! Horrible! Patients beware"

"Almost criminal! Like many others, we never received a bill, it went straight to collections. Additionally, when we confirmed with PAA and BC/BS and MiraMed that we did NOT owe any money, provided all the documentation and three months later, started receiving collection calls again. "The anesthesia team is fantastic! The billing process is horrendous ! There is no communication between the hospital and the associates . Though they have name , birthdate , address , phone, and service provided . Insurance info. Never seems to get to them! "If I could give 1/2 a star or no stars I would. I never received a bill until months after my surgery and then after I set up a payment plan with them, they sent me to collections. I spoke with them today and they told me that their payment plans do not direct debit and that you, as the patient have to call every month to make a payment. This is the first time I'm hearing this."

"I had a procedure done at Portsmouth hospital, I had a pre-authorization from my insurance to cover 100% of it. I got a letter in the mail yesterday from collections for Portsmouth anesthesia associates. I have never seen a bill from them, never got a phone call, no communication except a letter from collections. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau."
