"This office has a policy that there untrained Medical Assistants (GED level education) call patients to tell them they have a new condition and new prescriptions. This is way outside of their scope of practice. It is also just lazy and unprofessional for a Dr to not take 5 minutes to call a patient to inform if a new condition and need for medicine. I was told by office manager that this is there ..."
