"Stay away! Whoever took over this practice is money oriented only! I was a long time patient until 2024. All my copays and out of pocket were paid at time of visits. I never had a balance due in over 10 years. All of a sudden, in Jan 2026, I started getting multiple text messages stating I have a balance of $100+. No info just balance due. I called and was told that 2 cleanings from 2023 were ..."

"I went for 1 cleaning after my Dentist retired. I had an appointment for a second cleaning in another 6 months. I was sent an impersonal text message that my appointment was cancelled due to no insurance on record. This is unacceptable. Even if it were true, which it is not, that is not how you deal with a patient."

"Ever since Dr Bender left this practice has gone downhill. Dr Lengas has the worst communication skills. She needs to learn about empathy. I went in for a filling and she left me in the with a mouth full of Novocain for 20 minutes. She went to see another patient instead of doing my filling. I got up to go look for her and when she finally came back to see me there was no apology for keeping me waiting. ..."

"I have had extreme dental anxiety in the past with other dentists and Dr Bender was very soothing and sensitive to that. He explains things as he goes thru them, talks to you not at you. Although my problem wasn't solved at least it was detected and he's referred me to an oral surgeon to correct it appropriately."

"Dr Bender and his team are the greatest. I am 66 years old and always had extreme fear and anxiety visiting the dentist. I just had filling a few weeks ago and him and his assistant made we so at ease and did such a great job. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a new dentist."
