"With some reluctance, I rate this hospital at the top of the field for VA facilities. Not sure if it is because of the outsized influence the Congressional delegation from Louisiana has or simply that the VA has vastly improved over the years, but I got near excellent care here. "Good luck trying to contact any doctor that's treating you for any reason at the VA in New Orleans. You can leave a message all you want you'll never get a return call from your doctor, and I mean not ever. Government regulated care is not really fare, it is the government. If any veteran did not have PTSD before they went to the VA they'll certainly have it after dealing with the VA."
