"I have been a patient at the Myrtle Beach VA for 15 years. The service has gotten even worse than before the new clinic was built. Doctors quiting constantly. Sudden stoppage in meds because of pharmacy issues that took over a year to correct. I was left in the doctor's office for over an hour waiting after being seen by the nurse several times. When I am lucky I only wait thirty minutes in the waiting ..."

"I hear bad rap about the VA all the time on the t.v. and social medial. It must be because nobody wants to speak up except the ones having bad experiences. The VA has been absolutely wonderful to me if it were not for them I wouldn't be alive right now. Have they been perfect ? "I've had nothing but problems with the Myrtle Beach VA clinic. Sudden stoppage in meds too many times to count. I've been charged years for my meds for service connected injuries even after trying many times to have it corrected. I have to wait 40 minutes to an hour in the screening room for the doctor. I was told that's how it's going to be for now on. Many other problems over the years."

THE MAIN FLOOR OF THE CLINIC WAS ALMOST COMPLETELY UN-INHABITATED AS WOULD BE EXPECTED AT THAT TIME. I ENTERED THE OPTICAL OFFICE AS I HAD A PRESCRIPTION FOR GLASSES I ACQUIRED FROM MY OPTOMETRIST.
