"The Wilmer Eye Institute is an excellent 5 star facility. Outstanding doctors. But, if you are ever directed to their surgical coordinator whose initials are Wendy Kelly, immediately hang up and call your doctor for other instructions. This person is completely incompetent and will offer no communication if you need clarity on ANYTHING! No call back, paperwork so late that dates for reply had already ..."

"The front office is so poorly run. Like others, I find it impossible to check in and check out without a long wait. No return phone calls or response to My Chart query concerning macular degeneration changes. I get the feeling they don’t really care about something so important as my eyesight. "

"My appointment was cancelled today without my knowledge. They said they called and didn't get an answer. Not true. I check my phone log every single day. This is the 2nd time , this year, that I've driven over there and the same thing happened. Also, the waiting in line to check in, is terrible. I've never seen that in any medical office. Four people behind the counter and only one is checking in ..."

"I do not feel like giving them any stars. I tried to make an appointment for a new patient, my senior citizen mother. I was asked some rude questions about her sexual preference and race. She also has Medicare and Medicaid which means she pays nothing out of her pocket. I wanted to make an appointment for her follow-up because she wanted to change her doctors. I was told that she will be charged $400 ..."

"A rating of 1 is very generous. Despite my appt being set up MONTHS ago. I broke my foot and was on a knee scooter. The day of the appt my phone died on route and my tired requiring changing. I was late for my appt and the appt was cancelled by the doctor. ..."
