"Today I went to the Winchester Road dental office for a teeth cleaning. I have a permanent retainer on my bottom teeth meaning that my teeth are bonded together in addition to my permanent retainer being bonded to my teeth as well. Breunna, we couldn't agree more. We apologize that your feel your concerns weren't addressed. I (Dr Darby) truly feels that if a breakdown in communication occurs that creates distrust, one must find another provider. We do wish you the absolute best in that endeavor. I would encourage you to have some grace and consider that we as humans are very complicated and many things can effect how we perceive and react in a certain situation. I ensure that our staff has done some retraining on communication techniques (myself included.) I have long thought about how I could have responded better in your unique situation. Finally, your hygienist is an absolute seasoned professional. She is passionate about creating optimum care. Some of her passion may have been interpreted as rudeness in this situation. I implore to you that this wasn't the intent behind the interchange. As a business owner, provider, and CEO I wear many hats. But, I will never, never, never criticize a staff member in front of a client/patient. Praise in public, criticize in private always. This has helped me build a practice that isn't perfect, but well respected, and, honestly, is an amazing place to work.

"My experience with Flint River Dental was great. Went in for two fillings and a tooth extraction, and I didn't feel a thing. To be honest, I didn't regain any feelings to the right side of my face until hours later haha. Dr. Darby and her staff go to great means of making sure that you are comfortable during the whole process. Thank you for taking care of me."

"We had Dr Knight , who was in for Dr Darby. My 17 year old had 2 teeth pulled. The staff was AMAZING. Went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable. The Dr was very experienced, and took his time. He did an amazing job, my daughter was pleased in the end. It was very rough watching her have teeth pulled, and I was comforted as well. Highly recommend this place!"

"I had my teeth cleaned and an exam. I was pleased with the service. I have an upper denture and a lower particle. Not many teeth left and I want to keep them. My concerns were answered with respect. Everyone was friendly. I was called in within a few minutes after arriving, which is very nice."

"The front office staff greats you immediately with their friendly faces. They are always on time. The TV helps me to take my mind off my procedures. They work with billing because I don't have insurance. I had a bad experience as a child and I'm very frighten to go to the dentist. This office helps ease that anxiety."
