When i went to the actual appointment, i asked the same thing and also asked them to make sure whatever service they do is covered by my insurance; they said yes. "Went to the office and very cold there....understandable. The receptionist was great, very friendly and professional. The X-Ray guy very friendly and understanding to my needs. No need for any x-rays since took them in January 2020. People in the waiting was at distance and friendly as well. Great atmosphere altogether."

"I recently had a root canal procedure at Dr. Zak’s Ruffin Road office. I was very pleased with Dr. Gavin, the endodontist. He was concerned for my comfort. "I highly suggest going to a different dental office because the staff in both the North Park and Ruffin Road offices have scheduled me for the wrong appointment time, day, type, etc. on multiple occasions and even tried to charge me a missed appointment fee when they were the ones that scheduled my appointment on the wrong day. "Dr. Zak took over and is trying to run the retired dentist Dr Riedler's rather small office in the up and coming North Park neighborhood of San Diego. I had been seeing Dr. Riedler since 2014. After a scheduled cleaning, Dr. Zak's people could not communicate what my next step was clearly, in that they found 2 cavities, one that might require root canal and one small cavity.
