"I was only receiving 5 minute telemedicine phone calls at DHMC endocrinology for years. Each of these useless visits was billed $700+. My blood sugar was routinely extremely high but my doctor claimed I was not diabetic. I later switched doctors, had appropriate testing and was indeed diabetic with my blood sugar controlled within one appointment. Every specialist I’ve seen since is shocked that DHMC ..."

"Very bad experience with this department. They ignored my symptoms and misdiagnosed me for years. All appointments the last several years were 5 minute telemedicine visits where the audio and video didn’t work, tests were not ordered, results were not reviewed, prescriptions were not called in, etc. For this useless “visit” they bill $600-$700+.
