"My child was sent to Taravista. Their meds were changed, and after 5 days they were discharged. That's it. No real discharge or safety plan in place, except for providers that were so far away from where we live. "

"Unfortunately, this facility is terribly managed and, as a consequence, potentially dangerous to patients. First, it isn't a place of healing as the restrictions on activity and exercise are oppressive. Despite its (for many) remote location, they only permit 1/2 hour visits, and only by one person per day, within very limited hours. The place commenced a medication change for our child then released ..."

"TaraVista is a step-up from prison. It is a horrible place that functions unethically and illegally. The upper management know this, and support this way of functioning. The direct-care staff are unable to think and speak for themselves (which they lament). Both staff and residents are put in physically and mentally unsafe positions due to low patient to staff ratios, poor (to none at all) training, ..."
