"I made an appointment for some gum issues and expected I would be told I needed extensive treatment and/or surgery. As it was, the problem was not so bad and the treatment painless. She takes a more conservative approach (which I prefer) but lays out all your options and explains very clearly all the positives and negatives or each approach. She shared a lot more info than my last periodontist. "Paid almost a grand for an examination and x-rays for them to essentially tell me nothing is wrong. 1) This is way more money than it should have been, a couple hundred would've been understandable. They really pushed for the x-ray even when I said I had one done just a month prior. 2) They offered very little advice and essentially just pushed me to see another dentist. "I am giving 3/5 stars because the actual procedure was fine. I am a little concerned about how the office is responding to covid. During my first visit, one of the technicians complained that people were overreacting and during a follow-up visit, Dr. Claiborne also stated that he felt that some people were overreacting and that in 1968 there was the "Hong Kong flu" which killed over 100,000 people ..."

"My experience was mostly positive. Was concerned that a woman in the waiting area was not wearing a mask as well as one of the employees in the office area. I was in the waiting area for about 20 minutes. I would have waited outside until my appointment was available if I had known. Otherwise protocols we're followed."
