"I went to the ER for severe abdominal pain. It took 4 1/2 hours to get a bed. They did a CT and informed me I had acute appendicitis. Unusual at my age of 77. They also informed me that they didn't have a surgeon. Really? What hospital doesn't have a surgeon? They said they had to transfer me by ambulance to another hospital. More expense.
