"Zak Dental dentists are great but their billing practices are the worst. I know I’ve been overcharged and am getting ready to file a grievance against them. I’ve tried contacting their billing office for a long time to get an audit of what I was charged to no avail. If I have to file a lawsuit, I will."

"When something goes wrong or there are billing inquiries. The call goes to a call center agent that doesn't know anything. They can't transfer you and they promise a call back that never comes. I have called 3 days in a row, a call back has been promised and never comes. Also half the reviews are fake. They offer people incentives to give a 5 star review. They even tell you what to write."

"You cannot call their office directly if you have a question regarding a statement, etc...their phone number goes to a call center and the office did not return calls. I just recently called their number a few times in a week to get an explanation on a statement that they sent me so I can quickly resolve it. The call center answered. I spoke to call center person Mai Mai, Drew, Cherish and Sam....neither ..."

"The office have over-billed me for a couple of items and did not process the right insurance. When I tried to contact them to discuss the billing (contacted them 5 times within a 1 week period), I did not get a call back from Jerilee or Dr. Zak. The call goes to a Call Center. Spoke to Mai Mai, Drew, Cherish at the Call Center....but cannot get a call back from Jerilee or Dr. Zak from the office. ..."

"Been going to Dr Zak's office and was happy. Then when I needed paperwork done, they never sent insurance what they needed for approval of work. I called two times a week for a month and never received a call back from them (can't call office direct). Now I'm looking for a new DENTIST after months of dealing with them."

"Had me pay for a temporary retainer and charged me for the permanent retainer then weeks later told me I cant have the permanent retainer, also sold me a mouth guard to stop my teeth from grinding and then told me weeks later it wouldn't be worth it. 4 weeks after that I'm still waiting for them to refund all this work that were never going to do to the tune of $1600. "The employees are great except some people in the front desk (rude). The text reminder for the appointment does not match with the schedule on the computer the front desk people have. My tooth where the filling is placed is very sensitive, which it never happened before. I am going to call soon for this."

"This dental office has a wonderful office staff, however the dentists are not full time in this office. This results in scheduling delays and very limited appointment availability. When you do arrive for a scueduled appointment you must wait and wait and wait. "Had a tooth pulled almost 3 weeks ago. It still has not healed and there is a painful growth on the gum where it was pulled. Had to be numbed 2 times and was still in great pain. It was like having the jaws-of-life ripping into my mouth. The toothache hurt less than the extraction."

"Great experience. I came in on an emergency basis because of a chipped tooth that fell off (35% loss of tooth). Your office saw me within the hour, gave me a temporary crown and set me up for my appointment for the permanent crown in about two weeks. Teeth cleaning appontment made too. All of this done professionally and with caring kindness. You also didn't try to upsell me on other unnescessary ..."
