"Thomas Allen Atkins, M.D., works as a contractor under Aetna Health Insurance. It’s my understanding he’s no longer a practicing physician and he should have his medical license revoked. Mr. Atkins denied my hip arthroplasty after an initial review and again after a second peer-to-peer review with my board certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in hip replacements.
