"Emergency room is a joke, they admit you quickly and then you go into the sit and wait for hours mode. Every time we asked for an update we told we’ll be right with you and nothing follows. After over 2 hours of no one checking on us we just left. Pretty sad day for healthcare in this country. "I worked in the ER in 2002 -2005. I have never had the opportunity to work with such dedicated nurses and physicians in my 40 yr career with the exception of Charity Hospital in New Orleans.
