"I love Colonial Internal Medicine. I see Kristie McDowell at the Stafford Location and my mother sees Dr. Wolanska at the Fredericksburg location. I find the staff very helpful. Both Kristie and Dr. Wolanska return my messages promptly within 24 hours and I find it very easy to get an appt. They listen to my concerns and are very compassionate. "Terrible patient care. You will never get a response to your calls, your prescriptions will be left infilled and you have no way of reaching anyone. You will be sent repeatedly to a voice mail that goes nowhere. Wait for a call, wait for a prescription. Don’t bother getting the pharmacist to call either. They won’t get any further that you can. "Two years in a row now that my annual checkup with Dr. Elbert was like going through a fast-food drive through. So-called checkup consisted solely of listening to my heart and carotid arteries and ordering blood panel and mammogram. "Awful patient care!! They will run all types of test but good luck getting results! If you know how to read blood results then you can find those results on the patient portal but if you don’t know what they mean good luck on getting anyone to return your calls. Very rude from the bottom to the top! Go somewhere else that cares about their patients because these people don’t ??"

"Negligent beyond measure. Lost my blood work but never came to me to tell me… it has been over a month with several calls to them and ZERO response from any messages left, with same “we will escalate” this message from front desk (after waiting upwards of 30+ mins sometimes).
