"It is impossible to find a Cardiologist in Asheville who is NOT part of this Mission owned practice. No doubt the MDs know what they are doing, but the entire staff is short on compassion. I get a more warm and fuzzy welcome from my oil change guys. "

"This practice is much, much too large. The doctors are wonderful, the support staff brings it down though. The doctors are not helped by the support staff that is so very disconnected. The practice is owned by Mission Hospital, which under the new ownership, has really slipped quite badly. It's such a shame."

"I could not get another appointment with Dr. Willis. Receptionist was very vague - said no appointments were available for 9 months; did I want a PA? I said yes, but she could not get me an appointment with one of those either. She asked if I wanted to be put on a waiting list? She said someone would call me back, but no one did. "Visit was ok, but your communications system (your patient portal system as opposed to the portals used by others) is absolutely awful, the worst I have ever seen from a medical facility. You and your captive practices are losing patients and business because your answering service frequently does not answer and its people cannot hear me at all -- but everybody else can. "DO NOT become a patient of this medical facility if you expect to be communicated by phone. THIS FACILITY DOES NOT ANSWER THE PHONES. THIS CAN CAUSE LIFE THREATENING SITUATIONS TO DEVELOPE.
