Pediatric Gastroenterology

A subspecialty certification by the Board of Pediatrics. Practitioners understand disorders of the digestive systems of infants, children, and adolescents. They have achieved competence in the clinical diagnosis and medical treatment of these disorders and are able to select, perform, and evaluate procedures necessary for assessment of gastrointestinal diseases.
