Pamela R. Merola, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Jack Martin Division of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at the Mount Sinai Kravis Children's Hospital's Children's Cancer Program in the Jack and Lucy Clark Department of Pediatrics at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Cornell University, Dr. Merola earned her Medical Degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine. She completed her General Pediatrics Internship and Residency at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia following which she spent a year as an Instructor in the Newborn Medicine Department at Mount Sinai Hospital attending deliveries, caring for well newborns and teaching residents in the Well Baby Nursery. She then went on to complete her fellowship in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at the combined program of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. During her fellowship, Dr. Merola was involved in research evaluating genetic differences that might indicate how a patient may respond to cancer chemotherapy as well as the side effects that might be experienced. After completing her fellowship she was appointed as an Instructor at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center as part of a multidisciplinary team with a special interest in treating children, adolescents, and young adults with sarcomas of the bone and soft tissues before coming to the Mount Sinai Hospital as an Assistant Professor. Kayleen Bailey, M.D.

Kayleen A. Bailey, MD, MPH, is an attending physician in the Jack Martin Division of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology in the Jack and Lucy Clark Department of Pediatrics at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and the Mount Sinai Kravis Children's Hospital.Prior to joining the Mount Sinai faculty, Dr. Bailey received her medical degree from the Tulane University School of Medicine. Concurrent with her medical school training, she obtained a Master of Public Health degree with a concentration in Epidemiology from the Tulane University School of Public Health & Tropical Medicine. Dr. Bailey completed a General Pediatrics Internship and Residency at the Children's Hospital at Montefiore. This was subsequently followed by a Pediatric Hematology Oncology Fellowship at the combined program of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, where she completed an additional year in a Solid Tumor Fellowship.
