Dr. Gaitan's passion for Endocrinology and Diabetes led him to Vanderbilt University, where he completed his Fellowship in 1993. Dr. Gaitan is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, and Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. </p><p>Additionally, Dr. Gaitan is a member of the Endocrine Society, the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists and the American College of Physicians. Dr. Gaitan is a Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology and the American College of Physicians. He holds the academic position of Clinical Associate Professor at Washington University School of Medicine. Since 2001, he has been selected for inclusion in the Best Doctors in America and St. Louis Top Docs list.
