Diagnostic Radiology

A certification by the Board of Radiology. These specialists use all manner of radiant energy in medical diagnoses and in therapeutic procedures using radiologic guidance. This includes, but is not restricted to, imaging techniques using radiation emitted by X-ray tubes, radionuclides, ultrasonographic devices, and the radiofrequency electromagnetic radiation emitted by atoms.
