She has over 16 years of experience of working with patients and their families.</div><div><br></div><div>Dr. Wong graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's degree in Music from Loma Linda University at the Riverside Campus and then received her medical degree at Loma Linda University School of Medicine. She completed her General Psychiatry residency at the University of California, San Diego, where she also served as chief resident during her senior year. She subsequently completed a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of California, San Diego.</div><div><br></div><div>She is board certified in both General Psychiatry and the sub-specialty of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She is licensed to practice medicine in the state of California.</div><div><br></div><div>Dr. Wong is a Voluntary Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of California, San Diego and provides lectures, as well as one-on-one teaching for adult psychiatry residents and child psychiatry fellows. She is also a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.</div><div><br></div><div>In addition to her solo private practice, Dr. Wong has been active within the San Diego Psychiatric Society. She has held several positions over the years, including the Ethics Committee and Council Secretary. In 2011, she has presented the "Outstanding Service Award".
