Woodhouse MD, MBA, FACC</b> is an accomplished cardiologist previously based in the Atlanta metropolitan area with over 18 years of experience serving the metro area and beyond. Dr. Woodhouse is now delighted to share her expertise and experience to partner with Prince George’s County community as we all work together to continue prioritizing our cardiovascular health and wellness. Dr. Woodhouse’s patient care expertise spans all areas of cardiovascular disease. She understands deeply the value of a comprehensive, exceptional high-quality patient service and care. Dr. Woodhouse is a longtime champion of the importance of individualized and preventative care, always putting the patient first.<br></div><div><br></div><div>She provided care across all areas of cardiovascular disease, with an emphasis on cardiac and vascular health of all populations with a special interest in preventative heart and vascular disease, cardiovascular imaging, as well as women with heart disease and the Black community and their cardiac & vascular health, as well as clinical research. Dr. Woodhouse developed clinical programs and performs numerous testing procedures, including PET, cardiac CT angiography, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, and arrhythmia treatment and monitoring. By building meaningful relationships with her patients and referring doctors, Dr. Woodhouse consistently achieved superior patient satisfaction scores. This unwavering dedication to excellent clinical engagement and community outreach has remained a unifying thread throughout her career.</div><div><br></div><div>She is Board-certified as a cardiovascular disease specialist and in cardiovascular computed tomography, nuclear cardiology, and echocardiography. She is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology (committee on Disparities in care and diabetes & cardiometabolic state), as well as a member of the AHA (Council on Women with Heart Disease), the Association of Black Cardiologists, the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, the American Society of Echocardiography, and the Society of Cardiac CT. Dr. Woodhouse earned her medical degree from the Temple University School of Medicine. She completed her medical residency, served as Chief Medical Resident, and participated in the Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship at Temple University as well.</div><div>She also holds an MBA from Georgia State University with a Lean Six Sigma Certification, Healthcare Analytics from the University of Washington, and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Carnegie Mellon University.</div>...
