<p><b>Matthew Cohen, MD</b> graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1994. He then attended New York University where he did his post-baccalaureate studies. Dr. Cohen worked at the Hospital for Special Surgery as an orthopedic research associate the year prior to attending medical school.</p><p>Dr. Cohen received his MD degree from the Sackler School of Medicine. Upon completion of medical school, he performed his pediatric residency training at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Jacobi Medical Center.</p><p>Dr. Cohen is board certified Pediatrician currently practicing in Long Beach, NY.</p>... <p><b>Ms. Riley</b> is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a background in trauma and psychiatric care and is a decorated Lieutenant Commander in the United States Navy. Her scope of practice includes psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis and treatment, and psychiatric medication management.</p><p>Lieutenant Commander Riley completed her BSN at SUNY Downstate and her Nurse Practitioner MSN and Mental Health credentials at Hunter College in New York.</p><p>During her service in the U.S. Navy, Ms. Riley spent 9 months in Afghanistan to support Operation Enduring Freedom where she worked as a key Trauma Team member. She also spent a year in Germany at the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center to triage incoming wounded service members and coordinate care for return to service or the U.S.</p><p>Since returning from active duty, LCDR Riley has worked at the Institute of Family Health Services in Manhattan as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner managing patients with all types of mental health issues, including substance abuse. Ms. Riley has also worked at WestMed Medical Group throughout Westchester and Fairfield Counties as a Family Nurse Practitioner managing patients in an urgent care setting.</p><p>LCDR Riley is a member of the American Psychiatric Nursing Association, the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Emergency Nurses Association.
