Andrea Hernandez, MD

Dr. Andrea Hernandez joined Greenbrook TMS in June 2018 as Medical Director at our Chapel Hill Center. Dr. Hernandez completed her residency training at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina and received her medical degree from Universidad de Ciencias Medicas de Centro America in San Jose. Since then, she has worked with adults with a wide variety of mental health and substance abuse conditions. She has served patients from North Carolina in many different settings: at community mental health clinics in Wilson and Rocky Mount, through telemedicine services at Ocracoke Island, and as attending physician at Vidant Medical Center, Central Regional Hospital, and Alamance Regional Medical Center. Waheed Bajwa, MD

Bajwa joined Greenbrook TMS in December 2016 as Medical Director of our Cary and North Raleigh Centers with more than 30 years experience treating patients struggling with psychiatric disorders. His experience includes working in managed care with United Behavioral Health, working in public health with Milwaukee County Mental Health and Dorthea Dix Hospital, Raleigh, NC as well as 20 years in private practice. Dr. Bajwa’s areas of special interest include treating Depression, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD, OCD, Anxiety, Personality Disorder, Adult ADHD, Schizophrenia and Dual Diagnosis. Dr. Bajwa completed his Residency at a Columbia University affiliate, Harlem Hospital in New York and his Fellowship in Biological Psychiatry at Albert Einstein College affiliate, Montefiore Medical Center in New York.
