"Dr. Khan was wonderful, easy to talk to and she explains everything so it is easy to understand. Goes through your information in detail and took enough time with me to make sure that I fully understood everything. Excellent doctor and would highly recommend. "Dr Khan did my lung cancer surgery just as Covid had started. It was a time of great uncertainty. Dr Khan was caring and thoughtful and explained things very well. Morning of surgery no visitors were allowed and some of the staff kept on bringing my age and high risk to the point I was in tears. Talking to Dr Khan at that point restored by trust and I went ahead with surgery. I am glad I did since the surgery went well. I recovered well and I still see her to make sure the cancer does not come back. Nancy G"

"My mother was under Dr. Kahn’s care in September of 2019. She was very sick, kept getting sicker and sicker each day, and was misdiagnosed by Dr. Kahn, who then left the country for a planned conference. She was the only thoracic surgeon at Genesis East at the time. Thank goodness, my mother was finally transferred to Iowa City, where her doctor did immediate surgery within 14 hours of her admittance. The doctor in Iowa City, Dr. Arshava, was an exceptional surgeon who saved her life. My mother would have died under Dr. Kahn’s care from sepsis stemming from a bacteria lung infection that went untreated (stated by her doctors in Iowa City). I hope Dr. Kahn followed up on this case and learned from her mistakes so as not to let this happen to another patient."
