After God and my family, practicing medicine has been my passion.
I spent one year in a family practice residency and then finished a five year general surgery program in Grand Rapids in 1991. I am board certified in general surgery. My practice has always included general surgery and primary care.
In our primary office care we enjoy caring for a variety of chronic health probems including diabetes, hypertension, elevated cholesterol, depression, chronic pain syndromes.
In my general surgery practice I can treat various diseases and perform multiple procedures including some of the latest laparoscopic and endoscopic techniques.
These include removing lumps, bumps, skin cancers, hernias, office vasectomy, screening colonoscopies and upper endoscopies, gynecologic procedures including tubal ligation, D and C, and hysterectomy.
I treat colon cancer, diverticulitis. gallbladder disease, appendicitis, breast cancer.
Those who have met me can confirm that I am a latter day convert to medical missionology in the villages of Northeast India. My second family lives there.
