"My experience with Doc Salmon’s team has been nothing but Outstanding for years. I have recently moved to an area that’s over and hour and a half away and I continue he to visit his office. When I got married in 2017, I recommended to my wife that she also receive treatment at Doc Salmon’s office. She received a lot of treatment due to not having dental insurance for many years. Doc Salmon made her teeth beautiful, healthy and something my wife would show off to her friends. As part of her treatment, my wife receive a couple of crowns on her back teeth. It took a few visits to get her bite even on all teeth. No big deal. Unfortunately, during a fairly recent visit to adjust one of her crowns, which is touching the tooth with another crown, two days later the crown next to the crown receiving work came off the tooth stem. My wife went to Doc Salmon with her loose crown and it was put back on. A short time later, the same crown fell off again. The crown that fell off had two holes ...
in it. Likely from previous grinding to adjust her bite. Unfortunately the crown was lost before being able to have it put back on for the second time. When she contacted Doc Salmon’s office to have a replacement crown put on his office told us they would charge over $1300 to replace and put on a new crown. Not acceptable. When we raised concerns about being charged for repair work to her tooth where the crown had fallen off twice, we were told that is what it will cost to fix the tooth. No consideration for what is obviously an issue with previous dental work in her tooth. This high cost is due to a lapse in her dental insurance and push back from Doc Salmon’s office to stand behind previous work on her tooth. Nobody should have to pay twice for a crown that falls off multiple times. Due to not receiving any relief from the intent to charge her for repairing her tooth we will have to take our business to another practice. I’m very disappointed in this development. "
