"I wish I could grader her higher than a 5. Dr Kannan is wonderful about answering all of my questions and concerns. I had a question while I was out of town and texted her. She got back to me right away to allay my fears. She always tells me that we are in a partnership. I am so lucky to have found her."

"I think Dr. Kannan means well but I have been utterly disappointed by the Front Office staff. It’s nearly impossible to get anyone on the phone, or receive a call back within a reasonable timeframe. Some of the staff have been downright rude to me over the phone. Overall the office atmosphere is a bit uninviting and needs decor updating. Unfortunately I’ll have to search for a new provider. "

"Firstly, I wish to state how I hate leaving negative reviews, for anyone. However, Being a patient of Dr Kannan has been amongst one of the worst experiences that I've ever had in my life. I wish to spare anyone else the unprofessionalism and negligence if I can, as I do not believe anyone can afford to be treated by their primary care provider as I have. She's quick to prescribe medications, rather than treating root issues. I got diagnosed with high cholesterol, and she told immediately that she just wanted to put me on statins, and with that, I can eat hamburgers and fried foods' all I want. Any doctor would suggest life-style change, and try to help their patient with this. I know she holds her medical degree from Madras Medical College in India. I'm not sure her accreditation as far as american universities. Not to be disparaging. I just don’t know. But in my personal experience, she also does not address patients needs in detail. I got an EKG done at her office, and what her office ...
failed to tell me that I have an delayed heart electrical pulse. Something which my current doctor (not doctor kannan) caught right away, and wrote me a referral to a cardiologist to go get checked out. Seriously, I'm baffled that her office missed something so serious as an issue with my EKG and my heart function, which they were responsible for recording! Also, as her patient, I asked her about something as minor as health supplement I was taking, which caused me a little concern since I did not know much about it. She took the time to write down the name of it, and told me she would do research on it. Because she wasn't familiar with the ingredients. I didn't have a problem with this. However, she never bothered to call back. One of many times of neglect with her. She always seems to be running out of the office, and having her patients schedule appointments with the co-doctors because she does not work a full week's schedule. So if you need to see her for any issue that has any degree of urgency....good luck. And if you try to call her office after hours, and you are unfortunate enough get her as the doctor on call, she'll bear with you once. Then she'll get extremely irritable and curt any time after. She'll raise her voice, and tell you how you have to schedule time with her during working hours. That's if she doesn't fail to pick up or return your call completely. She has an attitude if you are experiencing an emergency. Same goes if you have a question about medication you were prescribed. She treats you like a burden. Another tipping point with her I believe is also having to deal with insurance. There are certain referrals and charges, which insurance needs to speak with physicians for before authorizing for patients. I believe it irritates Dr. Kannan to have to deal with this. If she has to do this too much for one of her patients, it cuts into her personal time. Bottom line. She is nice at first, but don't by any means be a patient with a repeated need. After trying to ingratiate myself with her, and being polite, I was then uninvited from her practice. I felt less than human during my time with this practice. Maybe her other patients go there for minor check-ups, and have good experiences as a result, and even my experience was pleasant…..at first . But anything beyond that, you are subject to humiliating treatment. I hope she does better going forward, and there aren't these kinds of reviews in the future. People's lives depend on her. "
