"I went to see Dr. Chan about 2 weeks ago for a glaucoma surgical consultation that our optometrist referred us for. We waited over an hour to be seen and when we were finally seen be Dr. Chan she was extremely dismissive of my mother and spoke directly and exclusively to me. For context, my mother is very old and speaks only Farsi so I go with her for many of her doctor visits. Not only that, Dr. Chan spent a maximum of about 5 minutes with us after the technicians finished their part of the exam with us. She seemed very rushed and left without asking us if we had any further questions. My mother and I left confused, upset, and dissatisfied with out experience. It felt like she did not care about us and that we were just another number for her. I strongly advice any against seeing her -- my mother and I found another glaucoma specialist in the area where we will be going to from now on."
