"She is a great person and doctor, but her staff members, never pickup the phone , never repluy to calls or messages, never care about send on time prescriptions to pharmacy or insurance!!!! 5 days with hige pain and noone help!!! left 100 messages and noone call back or email, front desk person does not call doctor just saying we are not allowed to call doctor if patient asking, was in 3 different offices and noone help, driving 40 min each time just to get answer sorry you appointment in 3 weeks!!! I will not reccomend to NO One this service!!!! Staff tottaly ignoring patiens!!!! UnProfessional Services!!!"

"I am the POA for my 73 year old uncle. He had, what is suspected to be, a seizure back in June. Dr. Salagram saw him in the hospital, did an EEG on him. The test result showed a red flag, but she couldn't pinpoint the issue. Wanted him to follow up with a 3 day EEG. Had to have an appointment with her before she would schdule the test. Our appointment was for 9:45; finally saw her at 11:15!! She acted like it really wasn't that big of a deal. Made the appointment for the 3 day EEG for June 22. Got a call the day before to confirm only to find out her staff scheduled him for the wrong test. Had to wait until July 22 to get this test done. Had an appointment for July 27th to get the results only to find out, after we went to our appointment that they gladly took our $30.00 co-pay, she didn't have the results. Claimed the "file was corrupted from the tech". It would take 45 minutes to get it again. She assured me she would call me that day. 2 days later, we're still waiting. ...

"This was my first time seeing a dr at Texas Institute for Neurological Disorders.Checking in was easy, the receptionist is very friendly.My appointment was at 930am and didn’t get called back until 945am,that is an extra 15 minutes which there was no reason for…When I checked in there was only one other patient who was waiting for her appointment and she was called back before I was.My policy is to always arrive at the appointment thirty minutes before scheduled because sometimes drs will take you in earlier if you arrive earlier.Otherwise it is expected to be seen at the scheduled time.Once I did my blood pressure and weight I was brought back to the exam room where I waited almost 20 minutes and it was almost 10am by then.Dr didn’t come in until around 10am.No one came to see if I am doing ok or letting me know how much longer the dr will be. I don’t mind long waits if there is a reason for it and if the drs care is exceptional which would mean they are in high demand for appointments ...
I can see why there’s a long wait time. But after reading reviews of other locations for Texas Institute of Neurology and how long their wait time is I won’t be back for another appointment muchless an EEG or follow up.I got what I needed, a new prescription to hold me for a few more months and that was the main purpose.Don’t recommend Texas Institue of Neurology.If you are one of those people who don’t mind long wait times this is the place to go. "
