"Dr Schmidt is a fantastic surgeon. He explained my MRI, Xrays and spinal problem carefully and completely. He described possible solutions, risks v benefits, and possible complications. I instantly felt safe with him and was very calm going in to my surgery. After surgery he explained my outcome to me and then again to my husband. As a nurse, I recognize doctors who are at the top of their fields and I would not want anyone but Dr Schmidt. He is absolutely the best neurosurgeon. "

"Dr. Schmidt, I could tell right away, loved what he did. In explaining the surgery I needed (laminectomy and Foraminectomy lumbar) he conveyed assurance and confidence in what he would do and he explained all the risks as well as the rewards. I knew what I was facing and that if my nerves had been compressed for too long, I might have nerve damage that could be long lasting. It came out in my favor, however, and I have no pain, nerve or otherwise 5 weeks post-op! Thank you Dr. Schmidt!"
