OVERVIEW

A Glendale, AZ native and a graduate of the University of Arizona with a degree in Microbiology, Dr. Ratliff attended Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale Arizona, earning his medical degree in 2015. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO in 2018 where he was Chief Resident, and completed a fellowship in sports medicine at University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas where he provided medical care to Division 1 SEC Athletes. Dr. Ratliff is Board Certified in Family Medicine and holds a specialty certificate of added qualifications in Sports Medicine. Dr. Ratliff has always had a passion for sports medicine. His professional interests include comprehensive sports medicine care including muscle, tendon, bone, joint, and overuse injuries for patients of all ages, diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound-guided injections, Regenerative Medicine including Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) and “stem cell” injections, …percutaneous tenotomy (TENEX), fracture care with casting and splinting, sports concussion and return to play protocol, and team and event coverage. "My goal is to work together with my patients to achieve the optimal outcomes and help my patients return to their active lifestyles. I will educate my patients on all appropriate treatment options based on current medical evidence to help develop a treatment plan that best suits their wants and needs."

"Very helpful, accommodating staff, knowledgeable and flexible with appointments. I was able to be seen within a few days of my referral being received. Dr. Ratliff is exceptionally informative, providing personable professional medical treatment plans. I was presented with his diagnosis for what he was able to confirm at our initial appointment. There’s generally more then one option available to follow pursuit of working effective treatment plan. I was grateful for the opportunity to make it a personal choice. Dr. Ratliff’s expert opinions ultimately confirmed my decision’s and what works best for me. I thoroughly appreciate being in the hands of a physician who shares a desire for long term relief and solutions. A high priority goal of mine is returning to an active lifestyle. This is a combination of factors accumulated over a variety of different aspects of your particular medical situation . He is not rushed to portray he has the accuracy of confirmed diagnosis prematurely, however lead by fact findings and irrefutable evidence is the core and basis to his medical advise along with his choice of action as your attending physician. My follow up to review my MRI’s is scheduled for 6 weeks in which he will be able to explain and provide his quality medical advice after careful overview of my findings. My appointment with him was a breath of fresh air from his bedside manner to his attentive and detailed explanation of my case to his comical down to earth approach of patient care. He is able to review and go over x-rays in his office. The wait was next to none with a seamlessly efficient flow to the entire appointment process. "
