"Dr Odmark performed surgery on my ruptured Achilles tendon which resulted in my suffering severe tibial nerve damage. I have lost sensation to the bottom of my entire foot(except heel) and lost the function of my intrinsic foot muscles. My muscles have atrophied and caused my toes to claw downward in a painful deformity. The lack of sensation in my foot has forced me to use a shower chair for fear of slipping on my numb foot. I must also inspect the bottom of my foot each day because even a small cut could become infected and I wouldn't know it. This nerve damage has left me in pain, worried about cuts and infections, afraid to walk barefoot in my own house, using a shower chair, and never walking the same again or without pain - this surgery has wrecked my life. "

"Happy to offer a very positive review of Dr. Odmark, his staff, and the office staff of Alexander Orthopedics. I saw Dr. Odmark for a fracture of the 5th metatarsal. I was able to get an appointment 2 days after calling the office for the first time. I arrived at the office (Palm Harbor) more than an hour ahead of my scheduled appointment, due to my own schedule change. The front desk staff was friendly and kind, and was able to get me in within 20 minutes of my arrival. Kiarra, the PA saw me in advance of Dr Odmark; she was very thorough, and explained in detail the nature of my injury and expectations for recovery. Dr Odmark came in the room just a few minutes later and reconfirmed what Kiarra told me. Although my time with him was very short, it was quite sufficient. I came away form the visit with a strong sense of confidence in the providers and in the practice, even though my situation is relatively straightforward. I wouldn't hesitate to see Dr Odmark or any of the other physicians ...
