"Dr. Metcalf treated my mother upon her arrival to the ER. I have never met such a caring, compassionate doctor. He took the time to go over all of her test results with us, providing additional explanations when necessary. While he was treating her, she had his undivided attention. He did not rush through like most doctors, despite the fact that the ER was overflowing with patients. He was by far the best ER doctor I have ever met and should he ever open a practice he would be my first choice as a physician. Holston Valley and the NE Tennessee region is blessed to have someone like him on their staff. Thank you Dr. Metcalfe. Norma Tremblay."
