"I am a retired physician and elected to travel from Colorado to Tennessee to have The Southern Method knee replacement with Dr Gautsch. His technique which avoids use of a tourniquet, does not cut tendons, ligaments or muscles. His image guided approach to prosthesis placement is innovative and allows for a much faster recovery without excess tissue damage. My physical therapy team is blown away by the approach and how much movement and function that I already have in the operated knee just three weeks after surgery. I'm gently spinning on a bike and am able to walk without a limp around our neighborhood and I'm also able to hike easy mountain trails."

" I had total knee replacement to fix my problem, not make it worse. Big mistake. Now I’m trying to find a surgeon to fix what Gautsch f’ed up. "

"I had surgery for right knee replacement on January 27th 2022 the physical therapy was horrible they pushed me when I got there just a few days after surgery didn't want me to use the Walker anymore made me do things that I was literally in tears and when I did that they say we're not having that here I'm a 74-year-old woman I'm a retired nurse and I'm resent being talked to that way and so I left and went to TriStar rehab and they were totally different my leg I have been in pain for 6 months I had to go to a pain clinic and then I had to go to the hospital twice to get off the pain medicine my leg has been swollen and hot and red I cannot walk very far I am in a wheelchair at the end of September I'm going to probably have to have a total revision of this name it is eight degrees off on its turning between the medical piece and the plastic piece and this doctor said that it's totally not right I have not had a life for 6 months I've been in pain and crying every single day I am extremely ...
dissatisfied with the surgery and with the PT that I received at Dr Gautsch's office now I'm going to have to pay for another surgery be laid up for I don't know how how long again and go through the same type of pain that you go through right after surgery so I probably won't be able to get back to my life till January of 2023 so as you can see I'm totally dissatisfied I was sent a bill for $203.69 which I do not want to pay my insurance company has paid enough and now I have to pay again for this new surgery "
