Dr. Golden earned his medical degree from the University of North Carolina. He completed his internship and residency at the University of Florida in Gainesville. Dr. Golden opened his internal medicine/diabetes private practice in 1974. He is board certified in internal medicine and is a member of the American College of Physicians, the Diabetes Association of Atlanta and serves on the Board of the American Diabetes Association, Georgia affiliate. Dr. Golden previously was awarded the National American Diabetes Association Affiliate Volunteer of the Year Award. He takes time with each of his patients and values communication between the physician and patient. In his free time, Dr. Golden enjoys playing golf.
