Dr. Taryn LeRoy is a spine surgeon at New England Baptist Hospital.

Dr. LeRoy manages spinal diseases and conditions encompassing the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine, including degenerative issues, spinal deformity and trauma. Dr. LeRoy has a special interest in scoliosis, addressing the needs of both late adolescents and adults.

Dr. LeRoy is an Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Tufts University School of Medicine. She is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the North American Spine Society. Dr. LeRoy has authored and contributed to numerous publications and scientific articles, contributing to the enrichment of medical literature and knowledge.

After receiving her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine. Dr. LeRoy completed her orthopaedic training at Tufts Affiliated Hospitals Orthopaedic Residency program. She earned both the Henry H. Banks Outstanding Chief Resident Award and the Outstanding Orthopedic Resident …Research Award during her residency. She completed her spine fellowship at Washington University in Saint Louis/Barnes Jewish Hospital.

"Dr. LeRoy is a skilled, compassionate, knowledgeable surgeon. She was my surgeon for back surgery in April. She was attentive while I was recovering in the hospital. She visited twice each day while I was there, and has spent time with me at my follow-up appointments, patiently answering all my questions and concerns. I am healing and recovering very well. I am grateful to Dr. LeRoy for her expertise and care. I recommend her highly for anyone who has spinal difficulties and needs professional help. "

"Dr. Leroy preformed a L5/S1 discectomy 6 weeks ago. Before the surgery I was in extreme pain for months and could barely walk or sit. Dr. Leroy was extremely professional and responsive before, during, and after the surgery. 6 weeks after the surgery I have almost no pain at all and am starting to get back to my pre-back injury routine. I highly recommend Dr. Leroy for any back injury treatment. "

"Dr. Leroy performed spine surgery for me in February. The experience throughout, from pre op, to surgery ,to post operative visits has been excellent., thoughtful, and professional. The surgery was successful, the pain I had been experiencing is relieved, and I am now walking and standing without pain.! Dr. Leroy is extremely attentive, calling me at home before the surgery, and checking in on me at the hospital afterwards. She is personable and easy to talk to, taking time to clearly explain procedures and answer questions. My wife and I recommend her most highly and without reservations. And, not surprisingly, her office staff is excellent as well."

"Dr. LeRoy performed a laminectomy on my spine, L2-L5, six weeks ago. She did an amazing job and I feel better than I have in the last 2 years. I had been dealing with severe leg pain unable to walk 100 yards but now after just six weeks I’m walking up to 2 miles per day, not all at once, but with absolutely NO leg pain. Dr. LeRoy is a true professional in every way. She is so thorough when explaining what she will be doing & answers any & all questions. I highly recommend her ! Can’t thank her enough for getting me back being active. "

"Dr. Leroy performed an L5 S1 discectomy on me. She was incredibly easy to talk to and made me feel at ease with the surgery that I was extremely nervous to have. She was available for any and all questions I had and still have. I was in pain for months. My surgery was a success and my leg pain has improved by 75-80% at only six weeks out. She is extremely knowledgable and I would, and have, highly recommended her. Thank you Dr.Leroy!!! "
