"My visit was somewhat rushed as it was at the end of the day. Not my issue, I don't appreciate being scolded like a child for having to schedule at the end of the day. Dr Hagg was in surgery so I had to see the PA. She did reposition my Foley and added additional saline but stuck the Foley in a weird way on my leg and my hair was stuck. Luckily I saw my home care nurse this morning and she fixed it. I was also put on an antibiotic but they didn't do a culture. I guess next time I will wait for Dr Hagg to see me."

"At the recommendation of my urologist, he suggested biofeedback to treat overactive bladder. At this practice, Susan Sailer provides that service. I scheduled the initial hour long appointment (not covered by my insurance) and she provided a brief introduction to biofeedback. I inserted the monitoring device and we started the procedure. Before we did, I was somewhat reprimanded for not taking long enough in the bathroom to empty my bladder - which I had done on arrival to provide a urine sample. When we attempted to first exercise (keeping in mind, I have NEVER done this before), I was not able to achieve the low number and was again (for lack of better terms) reprimanded as if I was a child not following an instruction. This continued for most of the test, which she cut short because I was FAILING at performing this test/exercise, which I have never done in my life. She made me feel WORSE about my condition and further gave the impression "you don't relax". Well, it's hard to relax ...
when you're being scolded for not being able to control a muscle you otherwise do not control. She went on to tell me if I failed the test on my next visit, she wouldn't be able to help me! I left feeling more inferior then when I arrived. I have cancelled the second appointment with Susan Sailer and may or may not return to the same practice. However, I absolutely feel this process of biofeedback will work for me, provided I have a professional who will work WITH ME to achieve the goals and help me to understand the procedure. In terms of considering "bedside manner", I would not want this provider as my nurse or doctor. "
