"This office is a scam: filthy, over booked, rushed, rude and charges for services neither needed nor requested, and then overcharges to insurance . Thinking something illegal is going on.
Do NOT go to this dentist if you want quality care.
Go if you want to be overcharged, pushed to have un needed services, and be in a crowded, rude waiting room and in danger of picking up diseases. (mask- what is a mask?)
My son needed a Dentist in Florida for teeth cleaning. In Virginia, our family dentist charges $99 for teeth cleaning, which my insurance covers in full. Made appointment for teeth cleaning and provided all insurance info: Dr Stoici/ his staff asked my son if he needed 'deep cleaning'. They then proceeded to clean only his upper teeth, and presented him with a total bill for $879, (for ~15 minutes of work) and told him he needed to book again to get his lower teeth cleaned. And he should have his wisdom teeth pulled.
1. For teeth cleaning uppers, they billed him $592, and then ...billed my insurance for $818 . And called it a 'deep clean'- which insurance does NOT fully cover. Normal cleaning is covered 100%
2. For 'drugs'- they said numbing gel, then said antibiotic ointment, NEITHER OF WHICH he got, they billed him $30. Billed our insurance $71.
3.For xrays and exam, they billed insurance $360, billed my son $257
They presented son with bill,' adjusted for insurance', he paid $167.40, even though I told him our insurance covers it all.
After I told my son there must be a mistake, he went back to the office- asked for explanations, and was told to leave.
DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE- IT IS A TOTAL SCAM!! "Read more
