Dr. Lee is the Chief of Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital and the Associate Director of the Nicholas Institute for Sports Medicine and Athletic Trauma, the oldest institute dedicated to sports medicine in the country. He routinely treats complex disorders of the hand to the shoulder as well as all aspects of sports medicine injuries. He has been recognized with NY Magazine's Best Doctor, Castle Connolly's Top Doctor, NY Superdoctors, America's Top Orthopaedists awards, as well as multiple Teacher of the Year and Mentorship of the Year awards from Lenox Hill Hospital. He is actively involved with research and has published widely in peer reviewed journals in the areas of hand, upper extremity, and sports medicine.

"Dr Lee is singularly the WORST doctor I have EVER encountered. I went for a follow up appointment to remove stitches on my left thumb. After over a one hour wait, he came in and looked at it quickly and briefly said he would come right back to remove the stitches. I then waited again another 45 minutes during which time I opened the door to the examining room twice to ask when he was coming back….because I knew they had forgotten me. The first time the assistant said I was next….then 20 minutes later, I again looked out and finally complained and asked what is going on. He’s definitely forgotten I’m here!!! After that a PA came in with the other assistant and said the doctor told me I’m done ….that I was finished. So I asked.,.. » what about my stitches??? ». Isn’t he going to take them out??? « He has frankly forgotten all about me!!! ». And they both looked puzzled, said they will come back with the proper tools etc ….and the PA returned to say she would remove them. ...
